change. yes, we can.

I don't think it's appropriate to use this title, but the thing is, I needed some change... in my room.
It was the first project for this summer. Painting my room.
I was thinking about it during the final weeks, and I just couldn't wait to execute the plan.

But it was much more work than I had expected.

First of all, the problem was to choose the color. Since my room is small, I didn't want to paint in dark and intense tone. The original boring white was actually the best choice because it sort of reflects the natural light, and when I thought of that I almost ended up giving up painting. But the color swatches I got from hardware stores forced me to proceed. They look like the ones of Pantone, and so inspiring that I felt like collecting all of them.

So, finally I chose one, and I did it with my boyfriend's great help.

Masking the ceiling edges, and trim for the window and doors was essential and a bit tricky, but I think we did a good job.
We were exhausted after working hard, but voila! My room transformed to a cozy small room.
