amulet

I received a package from mom. Grandma bought me a necklace for me because, yes, to protect me from all the bad things coming this year! She also gave me scarves (anything long will work, as she says..) and a amulet from the shrine she often goes to. It's been really a long time since I saw such thing last time. But it's kinda nice.
So, I think I'm a lucky one to have such a loving grandmother.
Then I found a $100 bill in the drawer today! I Can't Believe It's Not Butter! I don't know why I put money in the drawer, but I guess I saved it to buy a Metrocard or something.


母から荷物が届きました。今年は厄年と言った祖母が、私のためにネックレス、お守りとスカーフを送ってくれたのでした。普段つけるのにはちょっと大きなペンダントですが、ネックレスとペンダントが外せるので、ペンダントを別のチェーンにつけて、重ねてつけるといい感じです。
お守りなんてかなり久しぶりに見ましたが、うれしかったです。厄除けに効きそうな感じです。
こんな祖母を持った私は幸せ者です。
と、今日は引き出しの中に１００ドル札を見つけました〜。らっきい！なんでお金を引き出しに入れたのか、それは謎ですが、多分、メトロカードかなにかを買うために置いといたのでしょう。
